Guitarist of Black Sabbath Iommi diagnosed with cancer

London (Reuters) - guitarist of Black Sabbath Tony Iommi was diagnosed with the early stages of lymphoma, according to a statement on its Web site Monday.

Original formation of the British heavy metal group is writing and recording his first album in 33 years, and members of the group will move from Los Angeles to London to work with Iommi, while undergoing treatment.

"His group would like that all the world to send positive vibes for the guitarist at that time," the statement read, adding that the new album was still planned for the fall.

"Iommi working with his physicians to determine the best treatment plan - the"Iron Man"of Rock & Roll remains optimistic and determined to make a full recovery and success."

Iommi, 63, is a founding member of Black Sabbath, one of the most successful acts hard rock in history who have sold a record $ 70 million estimated in the world.

In November, the Veterans announced they were reuniting in their original training four human, including Ozzy Osbourne on vocals, for their first album again in addition to three decades and a world tour of 2012.

The quartet released their last studio album of all original documents in 1978 with "" Never Say Die.""

Osbourne was fired from the band in 1979, leading to the evolution of queues for several years. The original Quartet gathered for output in 1998 and sporadically played together in the beginning of the years 2000.
